1. Application Terms
By submitting an application to join the Catholics Online Directory, prospective members agree:
- that they are faithful Catholics in good standing with the Catholic Church;
- that they submit to the authority of Scripture, Tradition, and the Magisterium;
- that they will not consciously promote any material that is contrary to the Catholic Faith.
2. Membership Dues
Members must pay membership dues at the time their application is submitted. Memberships will not be processed until membership dues are paid. Membership dues are submitted through recurring PayPal subscriptions. Prospective members who choose not to use PayPal will not be eligible for membership on the Catholics Online Directory.
In order for a member to remain active on the Catholics Online Directory and in the Facebook Group: Catholic Social Media Influencers (which is exclusive for paying members of the Directory), members must maintain an active PayPal Recurring Subscription. Any member who cancels their recurring PayPal Subscription, in effect cancels their membership to the Catholics Online Directory and forfeits all their member resources and privileges.
It is the member’s responsibility to maintain their PayPal subscription: including maintaining a current valid credit card and valid PayPal account.
Once an application is processed the first-year membership dues are non-refundable.
If a member decides to leave the directory, the member is responsible for cancelling their PayPal subscription before the annual fee is due to ensure that payment is stopped.
3. Membership Cancellation
At the time that a member chooses to cancel their recurring Paypal Subscription (membership dues), their membership to the Catholics Online Directory is cancelled, and the member forfeits all their member resources and privileges.
If a member chooses to leave the Directory, the member is responsible for cancelling payments and notifying Catholics Online by email at: CatholicSocialMediaInfluencers(a)gmail(dot)com. It is the member’s responsibility to cancel their PayPal Subscription before automatic renewal to ensure that payment is stopped. If a member chooses to leave the directory, but fails to cancel their subscription, Catholics Online is not responsible for refunding a payment that has already been processed.
Any cancelled PayPal subscription will result in termination of membership. The member will be removed from the Catholics Online Directory and all content will be deleted. The member will also be removed from the Facebook Group: Catholic Social Media Influencers.
4. If a Member is Found in Opposition to the Church
If a member is found to be promoting material that is not in line with the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, or engaging in public behaviors that are contrary tot he Catholic Faith, the member may be asked to leave the Catholics Online Directory. At the discretion of the Directory staff, members may be removed from the Catholics Online Directory and have their membership cancelled, if the member appears to be promoting such material.
5. Limits of Catholics Online
Catholics Online not hold or endorse the views or opinions of its members. We support their work inasmuch as it is faithful to the Catholic Church.
Catholics Online endeavors to support and promote solid Catholic teaching and values. If there are any errors on our website, social media, or email communications, it is the result of our mistake or misunderstanding, and we will do our best to rectify the errors when it is called to our attention.
Catholics Online always defers to the teaching of the Catholic Church, and is faithful to Scripture, Tradition, and the Magisterium.
